joshuaefels: Someday I would love to design and build my own dream home. A home that will truly be a sanctuary and a get away from the world for me… my safe place essentially and place to raise my children. My home would be designed in a contemporary modern style and would be environmentally friendly so that it’s like a haven within nature. The front yard would be filled with beautiful plants, flowers, and trees giving the home the most warm and friendly curb appeal. The home itself would be made and architecturally designed using recycled woods, metals and lots of safety glass. The glass would allow lots of natural light into the home and would not only bring utility costs down but would also be environmentally friendly. The inside would be decorated in contemporary modern furniture with splashes of color throughout. A large showcase kitchen with an entertainment island. The kitchen would also be placed strategically in the center or heart of the home. The family room would showcase a modern fireplace and would help heat the home in the winter, yet still be a conversation piece. My dream home would have just five bedrooms, a luxurious master suite for myself and my spouse and four other bedrooms that would be left for my children, a guest room, and an office to write my first novel in. The backyard would feature a beautiful fence and a swimming pool for my children since I was never able to have one growing up. The yard would also feature lots of plants and a nice fluffy green grassy lawn. I could go on for hours about every single detail but this is just how my personal dream home would look. What would yours look like?
